The iconic and timeless elegant trainset RAe TEE II #1053 is passing the station of "Veytaux-Chillon" near the famous Chillon Castle, a medieval fortress on the shores of Lake Geneva. The mountains in the background are the "Dents du Midi" (which means in French "the teeth of noon"), composed of seven summits, reaching a height of 3257 meters (10,686 feet).
Since the new security system ETCS Level 2 was introduced on the line between Lausanne and Villeneuve the day after, on April 23, 2017; this was the last historic train without this equipment running on this scenic line.
