BN Lives in 2017!
The BN has been gone 22 years but you'd barely know it with this clean white face classic leading a northbound manifest on BNSF's remarkably scenic and surprisingly busy Bellingham Sub. This was my first time exploring the railroad north of Everett and I was very pleasantly surprised with the scenery and variety and density of traffic on this former Great Northern Route. This train bound for Custer will shortly duck into Tunnel 21 and swing north along the shore through the town of Bellingham. |
