Remarks & Notes
At one of few places that nearly the entire consist of the mile long Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey's Blue Unit Circus Train can be seen, Kanawha River Railroad crew KN-35B roll across the Kanawha River Bridge between Alloy and Deepwater, WV. At one time, this was the connection between the New York Central from Columbus, OH and the Virginian Railway from Norfolk, VA, eventually absorbed into Norfolk Southern and today leased to WATCO Companies. Today's train is historic, as it is the final revenue run of the circus train from Charleston, WV to Uniondale, NY for the final two weeks of performances, before the circus is disbanded indefinitely after 146 years in operation.
