After 146 years of serving the United States as "The Greatest Show on Earth", the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus has closed the curtain for the last time at the Nassau Coliseum this past week after suffering from dramatic loss of attendance at its shows. For many, the circus was all some knew. After the final show ended in Garden City May 21, every circus employee was told to remove their belongings from what was once their home. Piled high were reminders of a past life that is no longer, including polaroid photos like the one shown of people's journeys throughout their life as part of the circus. A new future awaits...
