| Although the weather was gray and dreary, the conductor on NS 607 was quite happy and cheery and in the Christmas spirit dressed as Santa on the run. NS 607 was almost to Roaring Branch between Appalachia and Big Stone Gap as St. Nick exited the cab to wish everyone around (only me) a Merry Christmas. It wasn't the Clinchfield's famed Santa Train but this NS trainman added a bit of joy to the Christmas season as he waved to many along the route. |
