| 5108 leads DC (EMD G22AR) locos 4058 and 4323 on a manifest train to Whangarei. The DX class was built by General Electric's Erie, PA plant and entered service from 1972. 126 is the only daylight train over this scenic and rugged line beyond the double track to Swanson electrified for Auckland Transport Western Line trains. |
