Remarks & Notes |
One of the twelve Budd SPV-2000s purchased by Connecticut DOT in 1980 for Amtrak New Haven-Springfield service but soon shifted to Metro North commuter assignments steps across the Naugatuck River at Seymour, CT, on a Waterbury-Bridgeport run. Due to chronic mechanical issues, these cars were later depowered and used as locomotive-hauled coaches on Shore Line East trains. |
