| Semmeringbahn's side arched tunnel; the Weinzettelwand. There are a small bridge inside the tunnel and 6 arches stand in a row, facing the valley in the middle of a cliff. I took the photo at the 7. arch which stands alone: it's a sensation to watch trains sitting half in a tunnel, half on a cliff with a view. On the photo; 1144 029 leads a 3 unit helper set (Lz = Lokzug) down the grade towards Gloggnitz, to couple up another train towards south. |
