At 0830 on a spectacular Vancouver morning, CP was hard at work getting a twelve car Royal Canadian Pacific train—the first cruise of the season—prepped for the party of lucky travellers who would spend the day lounging and sipping drinks as the scenery.
A half hour later, the classic consist was rolling out of Vancouver to start the first leg of its journey nearly 400 miles to Revelstoke.
