| Class 47 No. D1661 "North Star" was built at Crewe Works,and delivered new to British Rail in February 1965.The loco worked steadily for the next 42 years,finally being withdrawn in May 2007.The loco is now preserved,and is seen here at Bishops Lydeard station,on the West Somerset Railway. |
