In 1912 the railway from Palma (capital of Mallorca) was completed to Sóller and is still in operation until today. The train, at a distance of 7 km, traverses the height of 199 m, runs 13 tunnels between 33 and 2876 m, crosses the viaduct with five arcs and runs through a series of curves with a radius of less than 190 m. The entire track to Palma is 27.3 km long, gauge 914mm . Today it is mainly used as a tourist attraction. A set of old wooden wagons runs along the track today.
