| On 6/11/2017, we catch the New York and Atlantic Railway's RS-20 on the MTA LIRR Lower Montauk Branch. Lead by CITX 402 (GP38-2), the train just serviced Waste Management and is returning to the railroad's Fresh Pond Yard while passing under the extensive construction of the Kosciuszko Bridge. The bridge in the foreground will be one of 2 spans that will replace the structure in the background in order to both increase capacity and clearance for maritime traffic. |
