The engineer of SP 4449 gives a few short tugs on the whistle to the delight of the boaters, who have turned their small-sraft to follow the 1941-built steam locomotive, below as the 2017 Cascades Daylight crosses the 3,350-foot long Celilo bridge spanning the banks of the Columbia River while the train leaves Oregon for Washington.
