Remarks & Notes
BNSF 8465 and a GEVO ease around the curve as they lead an empty coal train over Skyline Trestle on their descent of the east side of Mullan Pass near Austin, MT. NP's former mainline mountain crossing of the Continental Divide continues to challenge Montana Rail Link and is a frequent bottleneck for traffic between Helena and Missoula, MT.
