On a fall afternoon, Grafton & Upton S4 1001 pulled the railroad's daily train into the small yard at North Grafton, MA, where it will swap interchange cars with Conrail. At this time this Alco was the shortline's primary engine, with a GE 44-Tonner serving as backup.
