Intermodal train passed the junction at Zidani Most: a station in the Y-shaped canyon where Savinja meets the Sava river. This is the station where the East mainline splits in two, one towards Hungary and Austria, the other to the Balkans, to Zagreb. After night has fallen, it is time for freight traffic to run up. There are 4-5 trains in both directions every hour: Tank trains, Intermodal trains, Ore trains, Grain trains from port Koper to the inland and back. I never experienced such a nice sky over lights before, stunning that you can see the milky way with your own eyes while sitting next to a bright station!
