CSX A707-24 is making it's way up to the summit of of the grade on the CSX Tyner Branch which is part of the Western & Atlantic Sub. A707 is heading toward the Hamilton Co. Rail Authority to pick up a few cars that is ready to be shipped out to the customer. This branch was at one time lead to the Volunteer Army Ammunition Plant (VAAP) which operated as a TNT (trinitrotoluene) manufacturing facility from 1942 to 1977 and supported a fertilizer production facility from 1962 to 1982 and was service by the N.C.&STL, L&N and its successor CSX til rail operation ceased in the 1980s early 90s. After the Volunteer Army Ammunition Plant was decommission by Federal Government Officials in 1995, Majority of the line were still in tact, and was lease to Chattanooga Rail Car, a local operation that store cars. Today with Volkswagen, and other industrial are now spouting in parts of the old Volunteer Army Ammunition property both CSX, Norfolk Southern and Tyner Terminal Railway Co. which does all the interchanging service this location.
