Classic GE
At the crest of the grueling Raccoon Mountain grade CSX Q210-22 (Dixiana, SC-Louisville, KY) crosses back into the state of Tennessee on the CSX Chattanooga Sub knocking down the former L&N/SBD US&S Intermediate signal (MP J-139.3 Stateline) on its ways dragging north for Nashville, TN. The sound of a C40-8, and a SD40-3 notch out echos off the mountain showing that even 10,500ft of empty autoracks going up the mountain can be challenging for an older GE, and rebuilt EMD motors.
Looking back down memory lane at the last generation of GE spartan cab which includes the six axles C series and four axles B series throughout the various of Class 1 Railroads in North America throughout the years.
