After a dry and dusty winter day on the Highveld, a pair of Transnet Freight Rail's newest GE diesels, type ES40ACi (TFR class 44), introduced from 2015 onwards, are captured at dusk near the town of Ogies, hauling a block load of empty open top containers for carrying coal.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
