Foliage begins to pop in the hills of upstate New York as this year's AAPRCO Covention Train, named The Green Mountain Flyer, hustles eastbound, for Albany, Springfield, and eventually, Rutland. This colorful train of 18 privately owned railcars is rounding Seward Lake in Schenevus as it nears its run-around location of Schenectady.
The Green Mountain Flyer was a special train of privately owned railroad cars that are part of the American Association of Private Railroad Car Owners (AAPRCO). The train was in conjunction with the annual convention in 2017.
The GE Genesis series are well known for being Amtrak's locomotive. With confirmation of retirement from Amtrak themselves, their time is limited. Now is your chance to catch them before the chargers arrive!
This album seeks to portray classic New England and Upstate New York imagery. It showcases the most perfect examples of regional identity, with special attention to structures and landscape.
