The American Association of Private Rail Car Owners (AAPRCO) convention train, running as Amtrak symbol 813-22 and named "The Green Mountain Flyer", crosses the Williams River at Chester, Vermont, on Vermont Rail System's Green Mountain Railroad Bellows Falls subdivision. Amtrak P40 #822 leads P42 #111 and the 18 colorful private cars westbound for the run over the GMRC to Bellows Falls. 15 hours after my last photo, ironically at Kalmbach time, 1027 hrs, a 7 lbs 6.5 oz baby boy was in my arms... my wife somehow still believes I had something to do with the time and weight... 1027 and 765...
The Green Mountain Flyer was a special train of privately owned railroad cars that are part of the American Association of Private Railroad Car Owners (AAPRCO). The train was in conjunction with the annual convention in 2017.
