| UP local YBE51X is seen passing the depot at Rockford as it heads east about 4 miles to serve Rock Valley Oil & Chemical at what is now the end of the line. A couple other sections of the Kenosha Division are still in tact which include the 3.5 mile Chicago & Chemung Railroad into Harvard and UPs 4 mile Farm Sub between Bain and Kenosha. Here in Rockford, the UP local normally makes an appearance on Wednesdays. On Fridays and over the weekend, the Park District operates Trolley Car #36 over a couple miles of the railroad between the depot and Sinnissippi Park. |
