These four future Boeing 737 jetliners are almost taking a trip through the clouds before they are finished getting assembled! A westbound BNSF “Boeing Special” passes over the causeway west of Trout Creek, Montana, on October 13, 2017, powered by GE ES44C4 No. 8068. These fuselages are built by Spirit AeroSystems, and are being shipped from Wichita, Kansas, to Boeing in Renton, Washington, for final assembly. They are shipped on specially-modified BNSF 89-foot flatcars and besides being a wide load, the length of the fuselage is over 100 feet, so idler flatcars are also used for each one, under the tail section.
