| UP 5524 leads a quartet of GEs and an empty Canpotex train across the Pend Oreille River at Dover, ID west of Sand Point, ID. Dover is a junction with the Pend Oreille Valley Ry. which operates from Newport, WA to Dover on former Great Northern right of way. UP/POVA share the former GN under UP ownership a couple miles in to Sandpoint and POVA's junction with BNSF. |
