The heavy 2-8-4 tank steamlocomotive of the Comboios de Portugal is leaving Tua with the touristic train along the Douro river to Régua. The locomotive was built in 1925 by the german Henschel & Sohn at Cassel for the Companhia dos Caminhos de Ferro do Sul e Sueste (SeS), which became later the Caminhos de Ferro do Estado (CFE), now Comboios de Portugal (CP). From 2013 to 2016 it was converted to burn light oil (diesel) and is regularly used for the tourist train between Régua and Tua along the Douro river on weekends from june to october.
