2-4-6-0 one meter gauge Mallet steamlocomotives E # 201, # 208 and # 210 standing near the turntable at Régua. 16 locomotives of this type were built by Henschel in Germany from 1911 to 1923 for the Caminhos de Ferro do Estado Minho e Douro (MD), numbered 451–466. Later renumbered to E # 201 to # 216 when running for CP. This 3 locomotives are extremely deteriorated and pure scrap metal. The E # 206 is operational in Switzerland for "La Traction" in the Jura mountains, the # 205 at Azpeitia in Spain, the # 211 on the Chemins de Fer de Provence in France. # 202 is displayed at Vouzela/Portugal. At Pocinho is another of the series completely deteriorated and overgrown with trees.
