Remarks & Notes
A four-unit GE/Alco lashup leads New Haven train Advance OB-2 (Maybrook, NY, to Boston) through Brewster, NY, on a summer afternoon. A/OB-2 was a hot freight forwarding interchange traffic from the Erie Lackawanna and Lehigh & Hudson River. Two U25Bs bracket a pair of Century 425s. The track in the foreground is a remnant of a onetime connection to the NYC Harlem Division at this point.
