Sequatchie Valley Railroad 1210 has seen some better days, as the remanent of the Illinois Terminal paint is fading away into history. If only this 62 year old SW1200 could talk, it would tell us a lot. 1210 has seen everything from the ITC to the N&W super merger of the 1960s to operation on the Sequatchie Valley Railroad. Most recently the locomotive was sold off to the Knoxville Locomotives Work where it was supposed to be turn into a genset switcher or painted in the old black and white scheme and leased off, but never made it out of Bridgeport, so the engine set. According to one of the employee of the Sequatchie Valley Railroad, Knoxville Locomotive Works seem that they had no use for the SW, and decided to put it up for sell on the market.
