Four years ago during the height of the NS 21st Century Steam excursion. Ks-1 Class SR 630 with the help of a NS Road Slug set lead the 12 car train loaded with rail enthusiast south on a 100 mile long round trip to Attalla Ala, and back to Chattanooga, TN opening up the first of many schedule excursion that were to occur during the 2013 season. SR 630 is getting reacquainted for the third time with the NS AGS North-End a common route for steam during the day of the Southern, and it's successor Norfolk Southern program when the steam shop was located out of Norris Yard. Excursion during the 60s 70s, 80s, and into early to mid 90s were either seen running on this line either for schedule public runs to Chattanooga or dead head move to other location throughout the northeast edge of the system. NS 957, and it's crew are planning it's first service stop in downtown Trenton, GA before the excursion continue south to Attalla, Ala.
