NS 26Q (Memphis,TN/UP-Garden City,GA) sprint south on the outskirts of Varnell, GA (MP-28.6) on the NS Atlanta North-End heading toward the Garden City Terminal the fourth busiest port in the U.S. operated by Georgia Port Authority. The hot pig train is only 20 or so rail-miles south of Chattanooga into it's journey south to the eastern seaboard, but the north-end dispatcher has the train line up to Control-Point (CP) Waring where they will have to wait til the loaded Scherer coal bucket NS 736 get ahead and out of the way for the pig train.
