Precision National Corporation was a pioneer in the locomotive leasing field. It’s lease fleet was built almost exclusively on locomotives powered by EMD 567 engines. One such example was a dozen F7As and F7Bs acquired in 1970 from Bessemer & Lake Erie. Coincidently, PNC F7A #717 (ex-B&LE of the same number) was photographed at the B&LE’s Greenville facilities in the Spring of 1971. We asked if they could pull cab unit out of the diesel shop, and here was the result.
