| Trains are few and far between on Union Pacific’s Limon Sub in eastern Colorado. Kind of reminds me of the Shafter Sub in western Utah. I spent several hours here without seeing a train and then was surprised by this eastbound MDVSI at the small town of Bennett, CO. A UP contact tells me this train only runs once, and infrequently twice a week from Denver to and from Salina, Kansas. The train is seen here rolling past the Roggen Farmers Elevator Association grain bins. |
