| Train 1617 from St.Moritz to Tirano over the Bernina pass is entering Bernina Lagalb station for the crossing with train 1632. The "Allegra" railcar ABe 8/12 # 3511 is shoving the track plow Xk # 9143, which can remove snow and ice between the rails some centimeter below the rail head. This liftable and lowerable
plow in the middle of the vehicle is remote controlled by a member of the maintenance of way, sitting beside the driver in the Allegra cab. |
