| CN 2866 leads a northbound freight over the Cloquet River near Saginaw, MN on the former DMIR. The bridge is built as two separate structures sharing the same abutments, the result of double tracking in an earlier time. Note the metal deck common on DMIR bridges. SMIR was a U. S. Steel subsidiary for many years. |
