Remarks & Notes
Central Vermont train 429, which ran almost the entire length of the railroad from New London, CT, to St. Albans, VT, hits the diamond at Bellows Falls, VT, on a summer afternoon. The power is a trio of CV and Grand Trunk GP9s, a common mix at the time as locomotives moved freely between Canadian National's two New England subsidiaries.
