Remarks & Notes
The Union Pacific 7477 is the sole leader of a 14,800 ton coal train. Lately, it seems Union Pacific has opted for longer, heavier trains with less power in order to improve the operating ratio. Here, the 104 car coal train passes an abandoned PG&E bridge at Bardees Bar, deep in the rocky confines of the Feather River Canyon.
