Traveling eastbound through the Thompson River Canyon west of Drynoch, British Columbia, is a Canadian National passenger train on July 5, 2004. The train is on Canadian Pacific rails, and is piloted by new CP AC4400CW No. 9807, with CN’s brightly-painted E9A Nos. 102 and 103 trailing the big GE on the five-car train. This part of the canyon sees both railroads performing directional running between Mission and Basque, with CN handling the westbounds and CP running the eastbounds.
