Thello is the first private passenger train company in France. The first travel of this train have been made on December 11th, 2011. Thello trains from Paris going to Venice in Italy. The BB 36010 is rented by Thello to Akiem SNCF subsidiary. Nicknamed "Astride" (ASynchrone TRI-system Drive Engine) this locomotive is a triple voltage (25 kV AC, and 3 and 1.5 kV DC) and can run in Italy. When powered by a 25 kV AC overhead supply, engines deliver about 5760 KW (7,720 hp).
