It was quite a busy day on the Pocahontas Division.. four eastbounds stacked up back to back between Welch and Iaeger waiting on pushers for the shove up Elkhorn Grade, a slew of westbounds on the opposing track one after another, and of course lots of foreign power to add to an action packed day. Eastbound grain train NS 52G bound for Baldwin, GA waits at Farm for pusher set NS J58, rolling by on the middle track to couple up to the rear of the loaded hoppers. While the standard cab SD70 and the SD70M on the pusher were a nice sight, the star of the show of course was the BC Rail GE cowl unit leading a CSX GEVO through the mountains of West Virginia.
On a side note, this is the first photo I've uploaded using the new size dimensions.. thanks RP.net for (finally) updating them!
