Autumn color has come to the Hudson Valley as a southbound Metro North Poughkeepsie shuttle cruises along the river at Peekskill on its way to Croton-Harmon. The consist of two diesels, in this case an FL9 and a GE B23-7, bracketing a pair of former long distance coaches was the usual makeup for these trains at the time. FL9 5000, formerly New Haven 2000, was the first of the fleet.
