With two leased CIT SD60's and 118 cars of freight from the Kanawha Valley, northbound manifest KNWA KN381 crosses the Ohio River Bridge at a brisk 10mph. The entire consist is still on the ex-CR/NS West Virginia Secondary, leased to WATCO subsidiary Kanawha River Railroad in August of 2016, but in a few short miles the train will roll onto the ex-C&O, now CSX Pomeroy Subdivision at Kanauga Junction for the last 9 miles to Hobson Yard near Middleport, Ohio, where the train will tie down for the night.
