Remarks & Notes |
In the summer of 2004 the 2000T locomotives had already been retired a couple of years ago and of the 3000T Series only 353,005 survived. This locomotive was exclusively responsible for the traction of the Talgos between Madrid and the Basque Country in the non-electrified area of the route. The Talgo departed from Madrid in charge of the "Virgen Bien Aparecida" and in Burgos this same locomotive took charge of the reverse train and returned to Madrid. The same electric locomotive in charge of the train to Burgos, returned to the Basque Country with the train from Madrid. This operation had the disadvantage that possible delays of one of the trains ended up affecting both. In the picture appears the Alicante-Basque Country Talgo as it passes through the Fontioso station. The train had its origin in Alicante only on sundays |
