Running on the wrong left-hand main is the South Seattle-Alliance merchandise/intermodal train that can be seen through a stone arch bridge at Spruce just north of Palmer Lake, Colorado on March 15, 2018. Main 1 is on the bridge, which is right at the end of the original Santa Fe alignment. Up ahead is the USRA alignment that eliminated the need for flyovers between the Santa Fe and the Rio Grande. |
