| Class 6E1 locomotives E1513 / E1540 / E1783 are pictured here at Ilfracombe on the KwaZulu Natal South Coast as they make their way back to their depot at Wentworth, in Durban. They had just dropped off a load of timber for Sappi / Saiccor in Umkomaas. All three locomotives were converted / upgraded and reclassified to Class 18E Series 2 at Koedoespoort in Pretoria. E1513 is now 18-843 (2015), E1540 is now 18-746 (2013) and E1780 is now 18-772 (2013) for Transnet Freight Rail. |
