Heading East out of Kutztown, 206 pulls its colorful train through a snowy field just outside of town. 206 is quite the rare bird, built in 1939 by EMC as an SW, it is one of only two surviving of the original 76, and is reported to be the oldest diesel locomotive in revenue service anywhere. This was the Philadelphia, Bethlehem and New England's first diesel locomotive and encouraged the railroad to dieselize.
