Cuesta's Second Horseshoe Curve. Little known to many, Cuesta Pass includes two horseshoe curves. The first is the more photogenic and photographed Goldtree Horseshoe Curve located between the South Chorro and the Stenner Creek. The second, with no name (to my knowledge) and extremely hidden in the hills, can be found between North Chorro and South Serrano. Seen here on a beautiful, spring day - UP 8812 leads a southbound auto train downgrade through the second horseshoe curve in the midst of the rolling green hills of Cuesta.
