| Burlington Northern train 2 is tucked in the siding at Carter, Illinois, to meet BN train 203 powered by a pair of Cascade green EMD SD40-2s on October 15, 1988. The engineer on No. 2 waves from the cab of LMX No. 8500 as another crew member is on the ground on the opposite side of the main for a visual inspection of both sides of the westbound freight. |
