Colebrookdale's most recent addition to its locomotive roster is Norfolk Southern 5128, a GP38-2 high hood purchased at the annual locomotive auction last summer. Built in 1974 for the Southern Railway, it was assigned to the Southern's subsidiary Georgia Southern and Florida, an assignment it continued under NS ownership still wearing GSF reporting marks. Still in its thoroughbred paint scheme, the railroad plans to strip the paint and repaint it in a scheme similar or identical to 7236 sometime this year.
