FIAT Model 7131 railcar gets a bath of the early morning Summer sun at the Locomotive (and railcar) Depot at Haedo. Even being a Sarmiento Railroad depot, the General Roca RR-owned railcars (as CMF 5064) were usual visitors to the place, because in those days all heavy repairs of this kind of motive power was developed in Junin Shops. The cars were sent from General Roca's base depot at Temperley to Junin via-Haedo. The short trip from Temperley to Haedo was followed by a long haulage of about 150 miles to Junín, so Haedo always revised and prepared the cars for the trip ahead. CMF 5064 was a member of a 5-unit group of railcars built-new as full-baggage cars with no passenger compartments, while the most common disposition of these railcars consisted of a small baggage compartment and coach space with seating arrangements of two different classes.
