After waiting for around 3 hours in siding at Urbana for a westbound fleet, this loaded coal train finally heads east towards Dilworth. Here the train crosses the massive bridge over the Sheyenne River at Valley City. The bridge is 3,860 feet long and 162 feet above the river. Construction work began on July 5, 1906 and it was completed on May 8, 1908. The CP Carrington Sub crosses under the bridge on the east end. Eastbounds were few and far between this morning, so the 3 hour hit hurt us for shots.
